​Annette Duffy

I was born on December 19, 1957 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to parents, Dale and Zola Duffy.   I grew up on a farm outside of Iowa Falls and after high school graduation moved to Des Moines.   I  received a BS in Business Mgmt from Upper Iowa University.   I have been performing on local stages in Des Moines as well as other stages in the Midwest since I was 13 years old but only as a passionate hobby.    After retiring as a business consultant for a computer firm, acting turned from passonate hobby to full-time career.  My film debut was with Global View Productions' film IOWA, A THOR MORENO FILM where I portrayed Mama - a tough loving grandma.  In 2013, I won the Distinctive Achievement Award from the Wild Rose Film Festival for my next  role ColorBurn.  Then in 2014, I accepted a role in the thriller HELPLESS.  I was honored again by the Wild Rose Film Festival with the Distinctive Achievement Award for my portrayal of Wendy in this film.  Since then I have been working on feature films, shorts and producing.  At long last fulfilling the passion with action!
